Orzo
Organic • Vegan
That’s right, folks. Orzo. Also known as risoni, orzo is a form of short-cut pasta, shaped like a large grain of rice. It’s as delicious hot as it is cold, and can be a great base to salads, traditional pasta dishes, or any wild creations you might dream up!
Cooking Directions:
The water to orzo ratio is 2:1 (for example, use 4 cups of water for 2 cup of orzo).
Bring the lightly salted water to a boil. Add the dried orzo, boiling it for about 10 minutes or until it has a firm, chewy texture, stirring occasionally to prevent it from sticking together.
